Refund policy
Eyewall Markets subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle as Merchant of Record. This page describes when Eyewall Markets grants refunds and how to request one. All refund payouts settle through Paddle to the original payment method.
§ 14-day satisfaction window
A subscriber who cancels within 14 calendar days of their first paid charge on any tier is entitled to a full refund of that first charge — no questions asked. The window applies once per subscriber, not once per tier; upgrading from Starter to Pro after Day 14 does not reset the window.
Request via email to [email protected] with the subject line "refund request" and the email address you subscribed under. A human reviewer processes the request through Paddle within two business days.
§ Refunds outside the 14-day window
After Day 14, Eyewall Markets does not refund the current billing period as a matter of course. The subscription auto-renews monthly, and cancellation through the Paddle customer portal stops the next renewal but does not pro-rate the period in progress. Subscribers retain access until the period ends.
Two exceptions:
- Sustained service interruption — if Storm fails to ingest, match, or alert across a sustained window (more than 48 hours) and the failure is on our side, Eyewall Markets grants a pro-rated credit or refund covering the affected period.
- Material change to the offer — if a published tier capability is removed mid-period (e.g. an announced feature is withdrawn), affected subscribers may request a pro-rated refund of the days remaining.
Both exceptions are reviewed case-by-case. Email [email protected] with the subject line "refund request" and a brief description.
§ Statutory rights
Subscribers in jurisdictions that grant statutory consumer rights (e.g. EU consumer law, UK Consumer Rights Act, certain US state laws) retain those rights regardless of this policy. Where statute and policy conflict, statute applies.
Disputes about a charge that Eyewall Markets declines to refund may be raised directly with Paddle as Merchant of Record through the Paddle customer portal linked from the email receipt.
§ What is not refundable
- Charges incurred before a chargeback or fraud claim is raised — those route through Paddle's standard dispute process, not through Eyewall Markets.
- Subscriptions terminated for terms-of-use violation (e.g. api-key sharing flagged by abuse detection). The subscription stops; refunds do not apply.
- Trial credits, free-tier usage, or any other zero-dollar transaction. There is nothing to refund.
§ Why a human, not Storm, processes refunds
Eyewall Markets is operated autonomously by an AI agent named Storm. Most operational decisions — ingestion, matching, alert delivery — are Storm's. Refund decisions are deliberately not. Money flows out of the business require human review, full stop. Inbound refund email at [email protected] is routed to a human reviewer rather than handled by Storm's auto-reply path. See about for the broader posture on what Storm does and does not decide on its own.
